HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here i am once again apologizing for not updating more. Well all I can say is that I am just not as good at all this blogging stuff as the rest of the world. Just gonna be a short story to let everybody know where we are at. Jay has been in Jackson since June 10th for school and is finally approaching the end. He will graduate on July 31st and i am here to tell ya that it CANNOT come to soon for me. I am so tired of him being gone. So far he is doing great and of course in true Jay fashion, leading the pack as of right now. We are hoping for it to stay that way as there is a reward for that in the end. We had a quick and very good visit with the kids this past weekend. Brandi and the boys came for a short visit, and it was very hectic, but very enjoyable. When she got here on Sunday afternoon, Mason had been throwing up all day, so naturally that makes for a very long ride(as if it wasn't long enough already). Ok so mason is getting a little better and on Monday Casen wakes up with spots all over him and so off to the doctor she goes.Well turns out he has measels(weasels as mason called them). He is doing better though. still kinda spotted but looking better. On top of all this wouldn't you know it, Brandi wakes up at 3am throwing up aas well as a few other things to go along with it. She was pretty sick most of the day on Tuesday and of course she had to go back home on Wednesday. and there you have it. Jay come home I miss you adn Brandi i miss you and the boys also. Hope we all get to be together again soon with all in tip top shape. Ok so it wasn't a short story but just the same hope you all enjoy the update. I promis I will try to do better in the future.

JAY IS A DADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i guess it had to happen sooner or later and of course we could not be happier about the blessed event. Jay has bee very attentive and caring throughout the whole thing. He has been checking on progress every evening waiting patiently for something to happen so now that it finally has we are both very happy about. Very suprised that it happend at all especially due to the fact that we wre not sucessful the first time around. below you will find pictures of yhe new addition to our family. According to the research Jay has done, these little one's will be gone from the nest within 24 hours of hatching so very happy to get these pictures at all.

OMG!!!!! FINALLY A NEW ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so i know it has been a while since i posted even i give Brandi the biggest hassle about not updating hers regulary.Not much has been going on here in the Magnolia state. Just work and home. What a life, huh. We went to the Pelican state for a quick overnight trip to see Miss Lezlea gaduate from kindergarten. It was very rushed so not much went on except a lot of driving and riding. We drove 825 mmiles in 2 days and we were pooped. I still don't think i am over it. Ok for the intro to pictures. Below is my very handsome son, Jason. he has the pleasure if being Lezlea"s daddy and in august will be the very proud daddy of a little baby boy! Wyatt Lane Marze. Keep them in your prayers as the mommy to be ( Candi ) has toxemia and has been put on bed rest. Not real sure what kind of medical condition this is but i can be very serious. Well is this not the most beautiful gaduate you have ever seen????? And you just have to wonder what she is up to here.

Here is the happy graduate. She will be a big 1st grader next year. Nanny and Poppy are so very blessed and proud of her. We love you lezlea!

And now for the best of all. This would be miss Lezlea Nicole Marze. Look quick beor she puts jeans and boots back on. She hates dressing up and etting "girlie". She did not want to wear a dress and "pantyhoes" as she called them, but my o my she sure looke pretty. We love and miss all of you a lot.

GUARD "BIRD'

Ok so once again the pictures are out of order. Mabe one day i will get the hang of this blog stuff. So the correct order actually goes from bottom to top. It seems like everytime i drive in or out of the driveway lately there is a bird running not flying out of the driveway. Well we finally figured out why. Jay and i walked down the drive to check the mail and when we came back this little bird just ran right up t us and did not fly away. It seem to be very upset and was ruffling feathers at us . Turns out this little bird had decided to use the edge of the driveway for a nest. We sure hope nothing happens to these eggs as we have a lot of neighborhood cats that roam around and we all know how well cats and birds get along. We hope for the best.

MORE MANUEL LABOR

Well as promised. Here is the corner with a little color. still not quite complete yet. In the back corner we plan on puttin a small concrete bench. Not that we will ever be sitting here but hey looks count for a little right? Hope everybody is doing good.

MANUEL LABOR

Ok for those of you that really know us, well let's just say that we are not the manuel labor kind of people. Much less working in the yard kind of people, but tody that is exactly what we did. We had a corner in front f the house that had just gotten out of hand. There was a tree in there that was taller than the roof of the house and just a whole bunch of dead shrubs and bushes. Crazy as i am though i forgot to take a before picture but believe me it was BAD! Well i just don"t know what got int me but i just decided it was time to get it all cleaned up. Mind you, it is still a work in progress but it is looking good so far. We cut the tree down and dug up all the dead plants and we found a really nice hedge bush in tere that just needed a little TLC so we kept it but everything else went. I had no idea Jay had all this in him, but we are both WHUPPED!!!!!! We hurt in place we never knew we had. The bush at the corner was the bush we found and if i say so it turned out ok. The smaller bush is the gardenia we brought home from mom's funeral. Maybe i can keep it alive, i am not usually very good with plants. And how do you guys like my little $1.99 improvised hose pot. To keep the water hose from just laying on the ground we bought a cheap flower pot. Jay drilled a hole in the side and presto a hose pot. i set it on a piece of left over tile and pored a few rocks in the bottom to help weight it dow, and it works great. We plan to add a bird feeder to the shephards hook and a few pretty color flowers and it will be awsome. I am quiet proud of us.

CHEAP COATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i just had to share these little buys with everybody. We all know in these economic times that we need to look for bargains any and everywhere we possibly can. I went in to our local department store tody just looking around and came across a really good sale. Of course i always look in the kids sections for obvious reasons. Always on the look out for things for my babies. I came across a rack of girls clothes for an awsome price. Not gonna pass up a sale especially Aa good one like this so done a little browsing and this is what i came up with. I know it is a while till winter yet but hey "A SALE IS A SALE". I found a few girls coats on this rack and can i just say OMG WHAT A DEAL I GOT. These coats were regular price $75.00 and that is way to much to pay for something they will only wear a little while. they were marked down a cuple time before this sale as the price tags will show. 1st mark dow was of course 50% off at $37.50. next mark down was a red tag sale at $22.50. and well here is where the excitement comes in. Folks i paid $4.99 each for these coats. Is that not exciting. Well of cours i had to give my grandaughter Lezlea a choice as we all know a girl NEEDS in life. So what is a "Nanny" to do but buy 2. Yes i was smart enough to buy larger sizes so that by the time winter rolls around they would still fit her. Enjoy the pictures of my most affordable shoping trip in a long time.

MOM"S FLOWERS

well yesterday was an awful day. first of all as everybody already knows it was friday 13th, second of all we buried jay's mom yeasterday and third of all it was raining horribly bad. so bad in fact that we could not even go into the graveyard, so bad in fact that the headstone that was already there had already started to sink in on one side. well today was a little better, not quite so much rain. we just wanted to thank everyone for all the beautiful flowers, green plants, and most of all prayers. jay and i brought home a huge gardenia plant that was just beautiful. it was covered in blooms and today when we got home there were flowers on it and let me tell you something it smells wonderful!!!!!!! guess we can safely say that mom is shining down on us. mom we miss and love you so very much.

LOVED ONE LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By now most of you know that a very important person in mine and jay's life left us tonight. Jay's wonderful mother Ms. Elsie Eubanks went home to be with Jesus at around 9:20 p.m. tonight. she will be very sadly missed and always loved. please keep jay and his family in all your loving prayers. Mom we love and miss you already!!!!!!!!!

IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE SPRING!!!!!

Well Jay got a job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!! Thanks everybody for all the thoughts and prayers. Well since Jay got a new we thought maybe it may be ok to loosen the purse strings just a little. We have been pretty tight lately and let me tell you it ain't fun!!!!! We decided to spruce up the front porch a little. Since we are just a couple of old fuddy duddy's we are just going along for the ride and accepting our fate so we got a new porch swing and a couple rockers for us to rock away the evenings like ole folks do. hahahaha!

yes virginia it does snow in mississippi. this is proof that it snows in the "booneys" more than it does in the "woods". this is mason's term for where nanny & poppy lives compared to where he lives. this is what we woke up to this morning here and it was so pretty. brandi sorry you did not get any of this stuff. well we love and miss everybody.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well yesterday was my birthday and i had a good day until around 3 pm ad then i got really sick with a migrane headache so i hit the bed and got up when i was woke up this morning when I had to get up to go to work. Until then it was a very nice day. My sweet honey was kind enough to take me shopping even though we all know that is not a mans favorite thing to do but all the same he done it without a gripe or grumble. He also got me an awsome birthda present. I got a set of BOSE headpones and OMG do they ever sound good. I highly recommend them if you listen to a lot of music on headphones. iIalso bought myself a portable hardrive for my computer. I bought that with all my birthday money I got. Haven't used it yet but hope to soon. I am gonna try to put all my pics on it so that even if and when it crashes i will still have my pics. Well sorry I haven't posted in a long time but I am just not as good at this thing as Brandi Lou is. Sorry, I will try to do better. That's all for now folks!!!!!!!!!

OK Can I just say OMG!!!!!!! The shopping in Las Vegas was INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Well the rest of it wasn't to bad either. we saw a couple of shows. Blue Man Group and one of the Cirque Du Soliel shows called Zumanity. They were both very good. i tried to add a couple of pictures of the trip but just not sure i done it correctly. brandi HELP!!!! you have got to teach your d mom how to do this. everything looks like it is just right there but when you start walking it feels like it is miles apart. i think we walked about 50 miles the past week. i am sure it did not become a danger to our health but my poor feet were sure cying very loud. we ate lots of good food and everything is just so over the top. i will try to get a few more pics on in a few days. but for now i am completely pooped so please stay tuned.

MUCH NEEDED GET AWAY

WELL HERE GOES FOR THE SESOND POST. AS MOST OF YOU ALREADY KNOW, ON JANUARY 5, 2009 JAY WAS LAID OFF FROM HIS JOB THAT HE HAS BEEN ON FOR THE LAST 15 YEARS. NO NEED TO SAY THAT IT WAS A COMPLETE SHOCK. ALL PRAYERS ARE VERY MUCH APPRESIATED AND PLEASE KEEP IT UP. FOR NOW WE ARE DOING OK. WELL WE BOUGHT A HOUSE 2YEARS AGO AND OVER THAT TIME WE AVE REMODELED EVERY ROOM IN THE HOUSE AND MADE IT OUR OWN. HOPE IT STAYS THAT WAY. WELL HE HAS AN INTERVIEW FEB 2 IN VICKSBURG SO HOPE AND PRAY FOR THE BEST. WELL ABOUT A MONTH BEFORE ALL THIS HAPPENED WE HAD ALREADY PLANNED AND PAID FOR A TRIP TO LAS VEGAS. IT IS GOING TO COME IN VERY HANDY NOW JUST TO LET OFF SOME STEAM AND TRY TO RELAX A LITTLE FROM ALL THE STRESS AND WORRY. WE LEAVE SUNDAY AT 5P. WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY THIS WILL BE THE LAST POST UNTIL AFTER THAT. I WILL BE THINKIN ABOUT YOY ALL.

THE BEGINNING

WELL HERE WE GO. IT ALL BEGINS IN THE SUMMER OF 2003. ONE EVENING MY MOM CALLED TO SAY THAT MY COUSIN CHRISTI THAT LIVES IN MISSISSIPPI HAD CALLED HER AND ASK IF SHE THOUGHT IT WAS OK FOR JAY TO CALL ME. WELL NOT BEING TO SURE ABOUT THIS I JUST TOLD HERE TO GIVE HIM MY EMAIL ADDRESS. WELL THE NEXT DAY I GOT AN EMAIL FRM JAY AND YES I DID END UP GIVING HIM MY PHONE NUMBER AND THAT EVENING I GOT A CALL FROM HIM. HE HAD THE MOST AMAZING VOICE AND WE TALKED OR OVER AN HOUR ON THAT VERY FIRST CONVERSATION. THIS WENT ON FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND FINALLY WE WERE ABLE TO ARRANGE A MEETING. OH, DID I MENTION THAT HE LIVED IN MISSISSIPPI AND I LIVED IN LOUISIANA, 6 HOURS APART. WELL WE MET AT 4 A.M. IN THE MORNING AT MY MOMS HOUSE. HE HAD TO MAKE THAT 6 OUR DRIVE AFTER WORKING HALF THE NIGHT THAT BEING THE REASON FOR SUCH AN ODD HOUR FOR A FIRST MEETING. ALL OF MY FAMILY HAD KNOWN JAY FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS AND I HAD ALWAYS HEARD THEM TALK ABOUT HIM BUT HAD NEVER MET HIM. WHEN I DID THAT WAS IT AND HERE I AM 5 YEARS LATER MARRIED TO HIM AND LIVING HAPPILY EVER AFTER. STAY TUNED FOR MORE. THANKS FOR READING MY VERY FIRST POST EVER.
